MISUNDERSTOOD ABSURDITIES

The design method becomes a place of endless creativity. Words and images take shape through the distorted outfits, overcoming traditional aesthetic taste and letting the content fall into the background, thanks to a strong visual component.

Starting from the famous “Notes on Camp” by Susan Sontag, this genderless collection expresses the excess and absurdity of the phenomenon. Like a Surrealist collage where different elements are seen in an unusual realationship with others. In this project, the camp sensibilty goes along with pop music and performance, glam rock, the punk movement, the Versailles fashion, BDSM and famous artworks from the past.

The collection also features an handwoven textile designed and personally developed.
